About me
My name is Luke and I am currently studying an Integrated Masters Degree in Physics with Astrophysics at Lancaster University. I achieved nine GCSE qualifications, eight at grade 9 and one at grade 8, and three A-levels, all of them A's, in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
To your left is a picture of me and my siblings in front of NASA's Kennedy Space Centre (I'm in blue) ; a thoroughly incredible experience that inspired me to study astrophysics.
My passion for education
I too am a student and I believe that learning should be fun and engaging and that people don't always learn in the same way so I will take the time to make a perfect plan for you. I have recently done an education project out in Bali, Indonesia where I completed over 160 hours of professional placement.

1:1 Lesson Plan
Tutoring site - Experienced Private Tutor
On a 1:1 basis, I enjoy guiding students through the fundamental approaches to maths and science, before teaching the relevant methodology to tackling exam questions to ensure a strong understanding of the concepts necessary.
Lesson length - 50 minutes
Typical Lesson Plan - 10 minutes going over previous content and focus of the current lesson as well as looking over the specification to find the key learning points set by the exam board, 15 minutes teaching and going through the methods available to tackle the content, 20 minutes working through exam questions ( I do, we do, you do) and 5 minutes to conclude, set homework and choose a topic for the next lesson.
To me, home learning is an essential part of the learning process, allowing students to develop their skill-set and improve at solving problems on their own.
